Hei Kitchen 黑厨 was created to bring authentic wok hei cooking into a modern dining experience inspired by the rich tradition of Xiao Chao (小炒). More than just a kitchen, Hei Kitchen is a melting pot of chefs and home cooks dedicated to reviving "lost" recipes from our grandparents' generation.
Our team has taken time to search for treasured recipes shared through word of mouth by great home cooks, preserving flavours that might otherwise have been forgotten. By combining these nostalgic dishes with classic wok techniques and modern creativity, we bring timeless comfort food back to life.
Every plate is freshly cooked to order, fired over high heat, and packed with flavour. At Hei Kitchen, we believe great food starts with fire, skill, memory, and heart.
